Science Time is Questacon's regular term-time experience for early learners aged 3-5 and their carers. The 40 minute session is guided by a Questacon Early Learning presenter and gets little scientists involved in a fun and interactive learning experience. Each session starts with a question which children and their caregivers work together to investigate and experiment. Along the way they’ll make discoveries, build confidence, and share their findings. Each term has two topics investigating a different scientific phenomena. The August sessions will be investigating Light and Shadows with hands-on experiments, guided activities and craft help children to explore the topic further. The session finishes with a demonstration and a take home activity sheet so they can continue their STEM journey at home.
