Lara Secondary College is committed to using the funds provided to run a series of lunch time activities to celebrate Science Week in Week 6 of Term 3, 2026. Members of the Science KLA faculty will provide specailised programs across each lunch time of this week. The lunch break at Lara SC runs from 1:09- 1:55pm. These include chemistry, biology, Digi-tech, STEM and Physics specific activities to be run by staff which teach in these fields. Lara SC has a school population of 688 students. Programs will range from open demonstrations which cater for larger numbers to smaller group activities in which students can experience with a more hands-on focus.
