Get ready for a Science Fair that feels more like an adventure. For half a day, you’ll explore four exciting tents: Curiosity and Wonder, Questions and Answers, Working Together, and Time Travel. Each tent is filled with hands‑on activities that help you think, investigate and create like a real scientist.
As you move around, you’ll earn stamps for every activity you complete. Some challenges come with special rewards, and each tent has its own themed souvenirs to collect. By the end, your stamp card will show just how much you explored.
In the Curiosity and Wonder tent, you’ll dive into stories about seeds, plant life cycles, farming and bush tucker. You’ll look closely at real seeds using magnifiers and create artworks inspired by their shapes and patterns.
In the Questions and Answers tent, you’ll become a science detective. You’ll ask questions about how seeds survive in different environments, then observe, collect data and use evidence to explain what you discover.
In the Working Together tent, you’ll team up with others to solve real problems. You might design ways to plant seeds in tough Australian conditions or build seed models that could survive in different environments.
In the Time Travel tent, you’ll explore how seeds, fruits and the animals that eat them have changed over time. You’ll also imagine the future by designing new seed varieties or storage systems that could work on Earth, the Moon or even Mars.
By the end of the fair, you’ll have learned how scientists question, explore, collaborate and imagine new possibilities for our world.
