National Science Week 2026 – Emmanuel Christian School Primary Science Fair

Emmanuel Christian School Primary students will celebrate National Science Week through an engaging and interactive rotational Science Fair designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of STEM learning.

Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will participate in a series of hands-on science and technology experiences facilitated by teachers across the Primary School. Each year level teacher will host a different STEM station, allowing students to rotate through a variety of exciting activities throughout the afternoon.

Activities will include crowd-favourite science experiments such as Elephant Toothpaste, hands-on robotics challenges using Bee-Bots, seedling planting and investigations into plant growth, as well as other age-appropriate science, technology, engineering and mathematics experiences. Students will be encouraged to predict, observe, question, explore and reflect as they engage with each activity.

The Science Fair aims to foster scientific thinking, problem-solving skills and innovation while highlighting the relevance of STEM in everyday life. Through collaboration, inquiry and discovery, students will gain practical experience with scientific concepts and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

This whole-school Primary event will provide a fun and memorable opportunity for students to explore STEM in action, celebrate National Science Week, and be inspired by the possibilities of science and technology.
