Celebrate National Science Week with an exciting hands-on journey into the hidden world of microscopic life, presented by Eco Action.
Participants will discover microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria (both beneficial and harmful), molds, and yeasts, as well as tiny creatures including mites and zooplankton. Using microscopes and engaging visual presentations, attendees will learn how magnification helps scientists explore a world normally invisible to the naked eye.
During the workshop, participants aged 7-12, will observe living single-celled organisms, plant and animal cells, and a variety of preserved specimens. They will also have the opportunity to record their observations through scientific drawing, while colouring activities will be available for younger children.
