To celebrate the launch of Science Week, Yass library will be hosting a propagation workshop.
Participants will learn all about propagation and the importance of it within gardens and farming with examples to view. Then we will be using water beads to make our own aqua propagation vase and adding a cutting of pothos (devil's ivy) to watch grow above and below the water.
Water bead propagation is a great chance to observe root development without disturbing the plant, this also creates a unique way to personalise your cutting, we will have a variety of colours of water beads that participants can use to decorate style their plants.
This is a drop-in session, come between 10 am and 1pm. Activity available while stocks last.
