Join us for a fun and hands-on workshop for children aged 5–12 years. This exciting session explores how things grow, how ideas spread and how science can help us better understand the world around us.
Children will take part in group discussions about plants, nature, crystals and fossils while learning how small ideas, just like seeds, can grow into something amazing for ourselves and our community. Friendly presenters encourage children to ask questions, investigate and explore through interactive activities and real-time discovery.
Workshop activities include:
• Making compostable seed containers to take home and grow plants
• Learning how crystals and minerals form through fun group discussions
• Exploring real crystals and fossils up close using jewellers’ loupes and digital magnifiers
• Taking part in a crystal dig activity to start a personal crystal collection
• Naming favourite crystals and taking home a 13g vial of crystal treasures
This workshop encourages creativity, curiosity and confidence while making science exciting, accessible and fun for all children.
Only 25 places are available, so bookings are essential. Please call or email to reserve your spot.
