Tiny Scientists, Big Discoveries! 

Get ready for a week full of wonder as our youngest learners explore the magic of science through play! Our National Science Week event is specially designed for babies and toddlers (birth to 2 years), where curiosity leads the way.

During the week, children will take part in simple, hands-on experiences that spark their senses and build early thinking skills. From splashing and pouring in water play, to feeling different textures like soft, rough, and squishy, every activity is safe, fun, and made just for little hands. Babies will enjoy watching bubbles float, lights glow, and colours mix, while toddlers will begin to explore cause and effect through play.

Educators will guide children with songs, stories, and gentle questions to help them notice, explore, and discover. Families are also invited to join in during special moments, sharing in their child’s first science adventures.

This event is all about exploring the world in simple ways—through seeing, touching, hearing, and moving. Even the smallest learners are scientists, and this week celebrates their natural curiosity!
