Seeds of Science is a whole-school STEM celebration designed to spark curiosity, creativity and problem-solving in children from Prep to Year 6. Over four exciting days, students will rotate through hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics challenges that encourage teamwork, critical thinking and fun!

Each day focuses on a different part of STEM. Students will compete in a fast-paced “Seeds of Knowledge” Science Spelling Bee, crack clues in a Technology QR Scavenger Hunt, work together to solve an Engineering design challenge, and test their logic and reasoning skills in a Maths Escape Room.

Activities are designed to be highly engaging, accessible and achievable for all learners. Students will investigate, design, create, collaborate and reflect while using real-world STEM skills in exciting ways. Challenges will include problem-solving tasks, construction activities, digital technologies, coding, measurement, communication and creative thinking.

Seeds of Science aims to show students that STEM is not just something found in textbooks — it is part of everyday life and helps people solve real problems in our world. The event also encourages students to build confidence, resilience and curiosity while discovering that learning can be active, meaningful and fun.

Our school community values inclusive and innovative learning experiences, and this event provides opportunities for students of all ages and abilities to participate successfully. By connecting STEM learning with creativity and teamwork, we hope to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, inventors and environmental problem-solvers.

Come and help us plant the Seeds of Science!
