Lakeland Senior High School is excited to host its very first Science Fair as part of the celebrations for National Science Week.
Students will have the opportunity to investigate a scientific topic that interests them and share their learning with the school community. Participants can create a poster, model, or another visual display to showcase their research, which will be exhibited in the library throughout Science Week.
During class time, year groups will visit the displays to learn from one another, discuss scientific ideas, and engage with projects presented by their peers. This will provide students with a valuable opportunity to develop their communication skills and deepen their understanding of science.
Parents and carers are also warmly invited to attend on Thursday afternoon to view the student displays, celebrate their children's achievements, and share in the excitement of the event.
We look forward to seeing the creativity, curiosity, and scientific thinking of our students on display.
