This year we will be celebrating science week by running activities at lunch time across the week. We will open the school hall for students to explore stations and participate in games, experiments and more. We will have activities that link to all areas of the science curriculum. For chemical science we will be mixing materials to make something new. We will do gas bags, mini volcanoes, making slime, oobleck, cloud doh and playdoh. There will also be games such as charades, guess the scientist, colouring in competitions, picture matching and more. We will also be doing buddy class activities which include making constellations with marshmallows and match sticks, planting seeds and revisiting the life cycle of stick insects with our science pets. We can't wait to share our favourite activities with one another and let our love for science shine.
