40 Alamein Street, Beenleigh, QLD 4207, Australia

Join us for Science Eats and Beats 2026,  a community STEM festival hosted by Beenleigh State High School as part of National Science Week. It serves as the community showcase and follow-up to a day of aviation and STEM career experiences, including a helicopter visit and industry-led workshops that engage students in exploring STEM pathways and future careers.

Building on the excitement generated through these experiences, students will share their learning with families and the wider community through a range of interactive STEM stalls, science demonstrations, engineering and design challenges, technology displays and hands-on activities. Delivered in partnership with the Arts Department, the event combines science, creativity, food and live entertainment to create an engaging community celebration.

Science Eats and Beats will showcase the relevance of science in everyday life, promote STEM pathways and careers, and provide opportunities for students to communicate their learning. By creating a fun, accessible and interactive environment, the festival encourages curiosity, inspires future STEM engagement, and highlights the innovative work being undertaken by students at Beenleigh State High School.
