Celebrate National Science Week and this year’s theme, "Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all." Just as scientific ideas take root to change the world, we are engineering sustainable paper that grows to heal the local environment.
What’s the Experiment?
In this hands-on workshop, you will explore green material science by turning recycled paper pulp into custom, seed-infused cardstock. You will learn how cellulose fibers bond and discover the biological triggers that cause dormant seeds to germinate when planted.
Plant it at School or Take it Home!
Once your card is ready, the science continues outside the lab. You can:
