Step outside and discover the wonders of the night sky with Hive's Principal Astronomer, Dr Martin George.
Join Martin for an evening of stargazing as you explore the stars, planets and other celestial sights visible above Tasmania. Whether you're a seasoned skywatcher or simply curious about what lies beyond our world, this is a chance to learn more about the universe and see it through the eyes of an astronomer.
You're welcome to bring your own telescope, or use one of the telescopes provided by Hive. Participants bringing their own equipment are responsible for its use and care.
As this is an outdoor evening event, please dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear.
Wet Weather
If weather conditions prevent sky viewing, a special astronomy presentation by Dr Martin George will be held at Ulverstone Secondary College.
