Imagine walking into a place where science comes alive, and YOU get to see and vote for your favourite experiments! During Science Week, classes from Reception to Year 12 at Adelaide North Special School are diving deep into their favourite science topics. Each class is picking something that excites them—like planets, horticulture or things that fly —and using their creativity to design a fantastic science display.

But these aren’t just posters or pictures. These 3D displays will show you what the students learned and how they shared their ideas. You’ll get to see around 10 totally different displays—each one made by the students; about the science they love.

Here’s the best part. On Thursday, 20 August, from 4:00 to 8:30 pm, all the displays will be set up at Playford supermarket. Anyone from the community can come along, check out each display, ask questions, and vote for the one they like most.

This event is not just about learning; it’s about celebrating what the students achieved in science and connecting with the local community. So, bring your curiosity, ask loads of questions, and be a part of the action. Who knows, you might leave feeling inspired to become a scientist yourself.
