See the world through the eyes of a mathematician through an interactive workshop. Guided by some of our friendly mathematicians from UNSW Mathematics and Statistics, each workshop takes you through a hands-on activity that will let you experience a different aspect of mathematical thinking that’s not only useful to mathematicians but also useful for everyday life!
Counting Conundrums explores that there are many situations in life where a problem can be solved by careful counting. Counting may seem like a simple task, but sometimes it can be surprisingly tricky. In this workshop, we will help four STEM workers with counting problems that have come up in their research.
All workshops are suitable for ages 12 and over. This workshop runs for 75 minutes.
