To mark National Science Week, the Brisbane Grammar School libraries will be hosting movie screenings during break time for middle school and secondary school students. The School has two libraries, one for years 5-7 and another for years 8-12. We would split the SCINEMA program between these libraries according to age-appropriateness of the content. We would like to add SCINEMA films to our programming. We have an avid and enthusiastic cohort of young scientists, and we believe the SCINEMA films would boost engagement with science learning and knowledge across the School. We regularly screen other educational media materials for students, including to promote foreign language learning and cultural and historical events, such as NAIDOC week.
