We are hosting a Brain Break to celebrate National Science Week. We'll be challenging each other with science trivia, and maybe even trying out some science experiments. This activity is just for us, but you can register for your own Brain Break at https://scienceweek.uat-webserver.com/brainbreak/
Take a break, have a laugh and discover something amazing with our National Science Week Brain Break at the library!
As part of National Science Week 2026, we are excited to host a fun and relaxed Brain Break session for staff as a team bonding activity. This event will give everyone the chance to step away from their busy work day, connect with each other and enjoy science in a simple and entertaining way.
Our Brain Break session will include science trivia, mini challenges, fun facts and group activities designed to get people thinking, laughing and working together. Topics may include space, animals, inventions, nature, technology and surprising science discoveries from Australia and around the world. We are especially excited to include some of the new National Science Week trivia questions and activities as part of the session.
Staff will also enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere with science-themed snacks and activities that encourage creativity and conversation. Whether you love science or just enjoy learning strange and interesting facts, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The library is a welcoming place for learning, curiosity and community connection, and this event is a great way to celebrate Science Week while building stronger staff relationships. We hope our Brain Break session will inspire curiosity, teamwork and plenty of smiles while showing that science can be fun, engaging and accessible for everyone.
