SCINEMA Event Description Hosted By Kindlehill Steiner School
Have you ever wondered how a tiny question in someone's head can grow into a world-changing discovery? Just like a plant needs the right soil and water to sprout, great ideas need curiosity, teamwork, and care to flourish. Grab your imaginary popcorn because Brain Break at Kindlehill Steiner School is bringing this magic straight to our big screen!
As part of National Science Week, we are hosting an exclusive, private SCINEMA film screening. This year, we are diving into an awesome theme: Seeds of Science: nurturing science for all. We are turning our space into a mini movie theater to watch some of the coolest, most mind-boggling science short films and documentaries from around the world.
This isn't your average, everyday science lesson. We'll be exploring how the first spark of a question takes root and grows into amazing solutions for real-world challenges. You'll see how scientists use creativity and collaboration to tend to these "seeds" of knowledge so they can benefit our entire community. Whether you love space, wacky nature facts, or engineering, you’ll see how science is truly for everyone.
Who: 100 of our fantastic Kindlehill students and community members.
Where: Kindlehill Steiner School, nestled in beautiful Wentworth Falls.
When: This August (keep your eyes peeled for the exact date and session times!).
Come along to take a "brain break" with us, get inspired, and see how knowledge grows when we explore it together. Let’s nurture our curiosity and watch it bloom! 🚀🌿🧬
