During National Science Week, our school will turn into a science lab! Two sessions will be held to guide students through hands-on workshops that link with this year's schools theme 'Decoding the universe: exploring the unknown with nature's hidden language' to illuminate the science that we see every day through nature. These sessions will be delivered by specialist curriculum and science teachers.
Our K-2 students will enjoy a walk through nature to explore the many magical patterns found in nature. Students will create artworks using sensory stamps and leaves. Students will also be challenged to complete a mathematical algebra code cracking puzzle! Our 3-6 Students will explore the Fibonacci flower pattern and create an artwork based on this famous ratio. Students will also participate in challenges to create a light code using a torch to pass an important message to their teammates!
