In celebration of National Science Week 2025, Dripstone Middle School is delighted to host its vibrant and thought-provoking annual science fair themed “Unveiling the Mystery of the Earth and Beyond”, serving as the guiding light for a spectacular showcase of STEAM-based learning and innovation.

Embark into the journey of curiosity and critical exploration from the innermost processes of our living planet to the vast unknowns of the universe.

Each student project is an invitation to wonder, titled with a sense of intrigue to spark the imagination and ignite dialogue among attendees. Featured presentations include:

• The Mystery of Life – exploring the foundations of biology, cell theory, and the origins of living organisms
• The Mystery of the Rock Cycle – revealing the ever-evolving nature of Earth’s crust through model-based simulations
• The Mystery of the Expanding Universe – investigating into the science behind cosmology, redshift, and the Big Bang theory
• The Mystery of Fibonacci Numbers – showcasing the beauty of mathematical patterns in nature and art
• The Mystery of Meteorites – uncovering secrets from space through a study of celestial rocks and their impact on Earth.

 Many more captivating projects like these are the result of a term-long inquiry-based learning initiative, where students have applied scientific thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving to produce high-quality investigative displays. The integration of hands-on models, interactive exhibits, and dioramas ensures an engaging and educational experience for attendees of all ages, from budding scientists to curious community members.
