Get Ready to Think, Make, Do: STEM in Action! 

This Science Week, our whole school—from Preschool to Year 6—is diving into an awesome STEM challenge using Makedo tools and loads of recycled cardboard! You’ll get to team up with your classmates to design, build, and test your very own creations. Whether you’re making a wild vehicle or solving a real-world problem, this is your chance to show off your imagination, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Each stage will have one winning group crowned the Stage Challenge Champions 🏆—and every team member will earn a Stage Engineer Certificate. On top of that, teachers will choose two special awards and $50 prize pack for each stage:

• Best Overall Engineer – for amazing problem-solving and clever thinking

• Collaboration Champion – for being an awesome team player and leader

Your challenge:

• Preschool: Open-ended fun—go wild with your ideas!

• ES1 & Stage 1: Build a cool cardboard vehicle.

• Stage 2 & Stage 3: Design and create a 3D cardboard invention that helps someone, fixes a problem, or makes life easier.
