Fitzgerald State School is thrilled to announce its upcoming Science Week Showcase, celebrating the awe-inspiring wonders of the universe through hands-on activities that highlight the hidden languages of nature. From the 11 to 15 August, the school will host a variety of engaging science activities across all year levels, fostering curiosity and excitement for the world of science.
This year's theme, "Decoding the Universe – Exploring the Unknown with Nature’s Hidden Language", will see students uncover the mysteries of nature and science through problem-solving, inquiry-based learning, and critical thinking. Each day of the week will feature a different set of activities tailored to suit the age and curriculum level of each year group, ensuring all students are challenged and inspired in their exploration of the universe and its wonders.

To support student participation in the Fitzgerald Science Showcase, the school team have collaborated with the Parents and Citizen’s (P&C) Association and the PCYC OSHC (outside school hours care) to help run the event and provide amazing prizes.
