The Ammonites ROCK and Science in the Square!

The Ammonites, an all-female, dino-loving supergroup, are bringing the stories of the past back to life, one song at a time, and they're heading to Geraldton! for National Science Week!

Perfect for your little dinosaur enthusiasts (ages 5-11) and curious minds!

Kids science activities from 3pm

Show starts at 4pm and runs for approx 45 minutes

Pack your picnic rugs and camping chairs and get ready for a roar-some family day out at Blue Heelers Square!

And then, from 5:30pm, it's over to the grown-ups to have some fun, with Science in the Square, a FREE evening of science-filled fun, just for adults!

Challenge yourself in our epic science quiz with guest question masters who know their stuff. Whether you're an armchair scientist, a professional know-it-all, or wanting to learn more, this quiz is open to all knowledge levels!

Team up or go solo, just make sure to register before the night! To book a team, please order all your tickets at the same time. With awesome prizes up for grabs and mini-games to enjoy, you won't want to miss out.

After the quiz, stick around for a live recording of the fascinating Palaeo Jam podcast with Michael Mills, or simply enjoy a chat and connect with other science enthusiasts from our community.

 

From the halls of Dinosaur University to packed-out venues, The Ammonites are turning the fossil record into a setlist, and they’re just getting started.They'll be doing things a little differently in each location, bringing in local palaeontologists and other community and science organisations to help tell stories of the past.  In locations across South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, The Ammonites are bringing their delightful brand of science, performance, and fun to you, and you're invited to be part of the journey!
