Super Sonic Science is Coming to Town!
Get ready for a science experience that’s full of colour, movement, and surprising reactions when Super Sonic Science visits Cunderdin on Sunday, 10 August.
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, enjoy a live science show filled with real experiments that demonstrate chemical reactions, changes in states of matter, and the behaviour of gases. You’ll see dry ice fog spill across the stage, liquids that change colour, and safe but exciting reactions that produce fizz, bubbles, and even small explosions.
Then, from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM, children aged 8 to 12 can take part in a hands-on science workshop.
During the session, participants will:
Combine safe household ingredients like vinegar and bicarb soda to explore acid–base reactions
Use real science tools such as test tubes, pipettes, and beakers
Investigate topics like gas production, temperature change, and mixtures vs. solutions
Record observations, make predictions, and ask questions like real young scientists
This workshop gives you the opportunity to try experiments yourself, follow each step carefully, and discover how science helps us understand everyday reactions.
Event Details:
