Hepburn Libraries will deliver a dynamic STEAM-based workshop that engages children in creative, interdisciplinary learning focused on astronomy, engineering and artistic expression. By integrating science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, the program supports diverse learning styles and fosters both critical thinking and imaginative exploration. In the Sun-Earth-Moon automaton workshop, students will engage in hands-on construction that encourages problem-solving, fine motor skill development, and spatial reasoning. The complexity of the task will challenge participants, but the successful creation of the automaton will provide a strong sense of accomplishment and a lasting, tangible understanding of celestial motion and orbital dynamics.
