Get ready, scientists of Pimpama!
It’s time for the Pimpama State School Science Fair Competition- where amazing ideas, clever creations, and exciting experiments come to life!

This is a whole-school competition, and there are prizes to be won in each category. After the Science Fair, some of the best projects will be chosen to enter the Griffith University Gold Coast Science Competition and the Science Teachers Association of Queensland (STAQ) Science Contest. From there, the top projects may even be entered into the BHP Billiton Science Awards- our projects can go from the school hall to the national stage!

We have five exciting categories to enter: 

• Environmental Action Project – Make a difference for our planet.

• Communicating Science – Share science in creative ways.

• Engineering and Technology Projects – Build or design something amazing.

• Classified Collections – Collect, sort, and display items in a scientific way.

• Scientific Investigations – Ask a question and find the answer through experiments.
