It's time to get hands-on to gain a greater appreciation of marine life.
This interactive National Science Week event is designed especially for primary school-aged kids and their families.
Children will get the chance to see and gently touch real marine animals like sea stars, sea cucumbers, and hermit crabs during a live presentation from Marine Life Xposure. It's a chance to get up close with ocean creatures while learning about where they live and why we need to protect them.
After the presentation, kids will head into a creative activity where they’ll make their own coral reef artwork using sponge stamping and paint. They'll learn about different reef zones and come up with ways to help protect the ocean in everyday life.
