During Science Week, our school will run a fun and exciting program called “Nature’s Code” for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Everyone will get to take part in hands-on STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) that help us explore how nature works. We’ll learn about the hidden patterns in the world around us, through art, music, maths, science, and more!
Some of the cool activities will include making constellations, solving nature puzzles, exploring sound waves, and cracking secret codes. Older students will buddy up with younger ones to help and learn together, building teamwork and leadership.
We’ll have interactive displays set up in the school hall that can be explored and added to throughout the week. All the amazing projects we create will be showcased there and will stay up afterwards, so everyone can enjoy, reflect, and learn from each other’s work. This project will help students get excited about science, learn to solve problems, and understand the world in new ways.
