Little Scholars Science Fair

  • - (AEST)
  • Ormeau Community Centre
3 Cuthbert Drive, Ormeau QLD 4208, Australia

Ready to spark wonder?

Join us at the he Ormeau Community Centre for the very first Little Scholars Science Fair – a big day of curious questions, hands‑on experiments and “wow” moments for children and their grown‑ups.

Around 200 children, 40 educators and many families from all 17 Little Scholars campuses across Southeast Queensland will come together to play, test, build and discover – because science is really just organised curiosity. The fair is open to families and our community to cheer on a new generation of problem solvers.

You’ll see live science shows, try STEM games and challenges, and make‑and‑test stations where kids can mix, measure, build, code and see what happens. Every activity is designed so children can have fun, ask questions and find answers themselves.

We’re also giving a first peek at WonderNest VR – our new, child‑safe virtual reality experience that takes children on short, guided “field trips” to walk with dinosaurs, dive under the sea, or travel to space. It’s safe, age‑appropriate and feels like stepping into a story.

Special guests, including the Minister for Education and the Arts, the Deputy Director‑General, and the Deputy Mayor, will join us to celebrate future‑focused learning.

Why start early? Because most brain growth happens before age five – and playful science helps build thinking skills, confidence and a love of learning that lasts.

Come along, roll up your sleeves and explore with us. At Little Scholars, science isn’t just a subject – it’s an adventure.
