In Kiln Chemistry: Striker Fish, kids design their own fused glass fish using magical 'Striker' glass that changes colour when fired. Explore heat, colour reactions, and the science of fusing in a fun, creative environment.

Suitable for 8 + (children aged 5 to 8 years old will need to be accompanied and assisted at all times by a parent/guardian)
Safety Requirements
For safety reasons, fully enclosed footwear is mandatory. Participants wearing open shoes will not be permitted to take part in the tile-making activity.
Collection of finished work
All glass pieces require a 48-hour annealing process. Completed works will be available for collection from the Canberra Glassworks shop on the following Wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm. Postage can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.
