The Gladstone Art Science Innovation Festival aims to bring the broad community together under the STEAM banner, to celebrate a community undergoing an energy transition. Regional Australians are some of our greatest innovators, and this 2-day event will bring together the science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics communities from research, education and industry.

The program will include a range of activities including:

• First Nations Artists in Residence
• STEAM Commissions (from the region and state)
• STEAM Roundtable
• STEAM Fair
• STEAM prize
• Participatory workshops
• Low carbon picnic
• Sunset Sound Walk

The program of activities will take place over the opening weekend of National Science Week in the Gladstone Region. Central Queensland University will be host to day 1 of activities, while Day 2 will take place in Tannum Sands parklands.

This event is funded by National Science Week and Inspiring Australia.
