Get ready to unlock the secrets of the universe!
Have you ever wondered how detectives solve crimes, how engineers build amazing things, or what happens when things get super-duper cold? At Coburg North Primary School’s Science Week Festival, you’ll get to find out — and experience it all for yourself!
This year’s theme is "Decoding the Universe – Exploring the unknown with nature’s hidden language", and we’re bringing it to life with a day packed full of mind-blowing science fun!
🚀 Watch science come alive in a thrilling Liquid Nitrogen Show! See what happens when things freeze in an instant, and be amazed by smoky explosions, frozen flowers, and crazy cool experiments right before your eyes.
🔧 Test your building brains with hands-on Engineering Challenges! Can you design something strong enough to survive a shake test? Or create a contraption that flies, floats, or zooms?
🕵️♀️ Step into the role of a real crime scene investigator in our very own Forensic Science Lab. Use clues, fingerprints and scientific thinking to crack the case and figure out who stole the teacher’s jewellery!
🧪 Plus, there’ll be heaps of science activities all around the school — from exploring gravity and sound to discovering the tiniest building blocks of the universe.
Whether you're a curious creator, a future scientist, or just love getting your hands dirty with cool experiments, the Science Week Festival has something exciting for everyone.
So grab your lab coat (or just your curiosity) and come explore the amazing, surprising, and sometimes seriously weird world of science!
