Get ready for something egg-citing! We’re bringing a real-life chick hatching experience to our school, and it’s going to be awesome. Over 12 days (two school weeks), students from Kindy to Year 6 will get to see the magic of life right in front of their eyes — just in time for Science Week!

We will watch eggs in incubators, see tiny chicks hatch, and learn all about life cycles, animal care, and how the environment affects living things. We will be scientists in action — observing, recording, and collecting real data. Plus, we’ll use cool tech like temperature monitors and time-lapse cameras to track it all. We’ll even send videos home so your family can share the fun!

This isn’t just about fluffy chicks (even though they’re super cute). It’s about using real experiences to understand science better. We are going explore big ideas like how animals grow, test our thinking, and learn how to ask great questions — just like real scientists.
