Chemical Chaos is an exciting two-day event for students from Prep to Grade 6, featuring engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the chemical Science curriculum and deeply integrating STEM. Students will explore how everyday materials interact in surprising ways, sparking curiosity and a love for learning. Each level will participate in experiments tailored to their curriculum levels, which include:
Prep: Pudding in a mug and slime.
Grade 1/2: Baking soda and vinegar volcanoes and no-cook playdough
Grade 3/4: Baking soda and vinegar rockets, density towers, and ice cream in a bag
Grade 5/6: Elephant toothpaste, lava lamps, and ping pong ball races.
Parents will be invited to share in the experience, deepening community engagement and highlighting the value of STEM education. Chemical Chaos is more than just a fun event, it’s a launchpad for lifelong learning and future opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and maths.
