The Year 1-6 Science Fair will be a two-day event celebrating student creativity and scientific inquiry. Students will design and present
their own science fair projects, exploring topics across various scientific disciplines. These student-made projects will be displayed
throughout the school hall, where the entire school community will have the opportunity to interact with the displays, ask questions,
and vote for their favourite projects.
The fair will also feature interactive science stations and informative posters created by students, showcasing experiments and
demonstrations. These activities will not only encourage curiosity and problem-solving but also enhance the students' science inquiry
skills, from forming hypotheses to drawing conclusions. Senior students will mentor younger peers, further promoting collaboration and
learning.
The event will actively involve parents and the wider community, inviting them to attend, engage with the displays, and celebrate the
students' scientific achievements. Through this fair, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for science in everyday life and inspire
students to continue exploring the wonders of the natural world.
