Blackwater State High School's Family Science Fun Night is back again and this year explores how science can help decode the universe - the theme of the 2025 National Science Week.

Walk through our interactive activities and exhibits and crack the code to solve the riddle! Each room will contain clues to find through completing activities and experiments and when you have solved the riddle, you will receive a science show bag.

Enjoy the cool science demonstrations given by the teachers of Blackwater State High and find out where science can take you in the future. Enjoy the wonders of the universe together as a family - suitable to kids of all ages! Free BBQ dinner and drinks included. 

This year, there will be a special Art Show to showcase the fabulous artworks and talents of our students and teachers. Vote for your favourite artwork, with artworks also available for purchase.
