Budding young scientists can gain an insight into the world of research at The Kids Research Institute Australia Discovery Centre.

Located at Perth Children’s Hospital, The Kids Discovery Centre brings together science and health research in a fun and educational way.

Through more than 25 different games and hands-on activities, kids can explore the human body and learn about what researchers at The Kids are currently working on.

One game teaches kids about how our immune system works to help white blood cells defeat cancer cells. Another allows kids to learn more about their health by viewing the human body through medical scanning techniques, such as X-ray, ultrasound or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Entry to the Discovery Centre is free and promises a unique, engaging experience for all kids, and you never know – the parents might learn something too!
