‘Wonderfully Made - Exploring Nature’s Codes’ will be a series of school-based events running from the 11th to the 15th of August. Throughout the week, each year level from Foundation through to Year 10 will take their turn at visiting the Science Laboratory for an age-appropriate double lesson period of fun, hands-on science experiments and design challenges and code-themed Mathematics puzzles aimed at developing both their interest in Science and Mathematics and also their problem-solving and inquiry skills. The highlight will be an opportunity for each class and other members of the school community (staff and parents) to browse ‘Science Fair’ style displays prepared in earlier weeks by students from across the school, each of which creatively communicates examples of the intersection of science and mathematics.
