The Forrest Research Foundation invites you to its National Science Week Showcase at Forrest Hall. Join in memorable experiences for the whole family at the frontiers of science. 

  • Get hands-on! We've teamed up with Supersonic Science, who will guide you into exciting and explosive experiments all day long.
  • Embark into virtual realities where you can journey inside molecules or watch the Universe being born.
  • Tour the scientific frontier at our Science Stations featuring meteorites, carbon-fibre bones, a black hole hunt, shark skeletons, gravity waves, and more! 
  • Watch, listen, and ask as top young scientists share their research in a full-day schedule of short-feature presentations. 
  • Step in front of the big screen at our photo booth featuring images spanning microscopic to galactic scales.

Location Information

Located on the bank of the Swan River by UWA, Forrest Hall is easily accessed by bus from the city (950 and 995 routes). Parking is also available along Matilda Bay and in front of the UWA sports complex. Forrest Hall is accessible by wheelchair from the Hackett Drive side of the building. But a lift is also available in the Wonil Hotel from the UWA boat shed side.
