Woodville Primary School – STEMFEST 2025: Decoding the Universe

To celebrate National Science Week 2025, Woodville Primary School is proudly hosting STEMFEST: Decoding the Universe — a full day of hands-on learning, scientific exploration, and community connection.

Throughout the day, students will investigate the hidden wonders of the world around (and within) us. Activities will include examining natural materials under microscopes and magnifying glasses, constructing working models of the human kidney, and enjoying an all-encompassing science demonstration that brings big ideas to life.

In the spirit of discovery, students are invited to dress up as their favourite STEM figure, with prizes awarded to the most creative and informed outfits — students must be able to explain who they are and why that person is important to science, tech, engineering or maths!

At 2:00pm, the school will open its doors to families and community members to join in the fun, explore student learning, and experience the excitement of STEM in action.

STEMFEST 2025 promises to be a celebration of curiosity, creativity and the incredible ways we can all help decode the universe.
