Meet the scientists passionate about bringing science to you during National Science Week 2025 in Mparntwe (Alice Springs).
This event, aimed specifically at students considering a career in science, will introduce our Science Week team, and explain how they found their way into science. It will then consist of an extended Q and A session, allowing participants to better understand university life and consider their pathways.
The event will feature Dr Kirsti Abbott, MAGNT Head of Science; Dr Adam Yates, MAGNT Senior Curator of Earth Sciences, special guest and award-winning astrophysicist, Dr Sara Webb; and musical palaeontologists—and current university students—The Ammonites.
