The Science Showcase 2025 is a school-wide event designed to celebrate scientific thinking, creativity, and student-led inquiry. The event provides students with an exciting opportunity to apply their science knowledge in real-world ways.
Students from all year levels are encouraged to design and present a science model or experiment based on any scientific concept of interest — from how plants grow to how forces work or how we can clean water. They can work individually or in small groups using low-cost, everyday materials.
Each project will be displayed on a table, and students will explain their work to other students, teachers, and invited guests throughout the afternoon. The focus is on student voice, understanding, and creativity, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and clear communication of ideas.
The event includes People’s Choice Voting, where visitors vote for their favourite project. All students who participate will receive a certificate of recognition and refreshments as a celebration of their efforts.
The Science Showcase encourages confidence, curiosity, and collaboration — helping students see themselves as young scientists making sense of the world.
