Get Ready for a Day of Discovery!

Have you ever wondered why how rockets fly, what makes slime so stretchy or even how to make ice cream in a bag? Then get ready to explore all this and more at the KSPS Science Spectacular!

As part of National Science Week, students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will spend a whole day being curious, asking questions, and doing hands-on science. You won’t be sitting and listening—you’ll be moving between fun activity stations, trying out cool experiments, solving problems, and working with your classmates to discover how science works in the world around us.

You’ll get to:

• Explore real science topics through exciting activities
• Experiment with materials and ideas
• Think like a scientist—observe, predict, test, and make conclusion
• Work in teams to share ideas and solve challenges together

Whether you're mixing, building, testing, or observing, this day is all about learning by doing. It's a chance to see how science connects to everyday life and to grow your confidence as a young scientist. By the end of the day, we hope you’ll be inspired to keep exploring, stay curious, and keep asking “why?”
