Hive presents a family-friendly day of wonder, looking outwards to decode the universe!
The day begins at Hive with an all-ages planetarium show at 11am, followed by a free public talk, ‘Who Cares About Space Weather'.
As the Dial Range falls into the evening shadow, we gather at Mt Gnomon Farm for an indoor astronomy talk from Astronomer Dr Martin George. This will be followed by stargazing through provided telescopes, weather permitting.
This project received grant funding through Inspiring Australia – An Australian Government Initiative.

Gnomon Room is situated at Ulverstone Wharf. Mt Gnomon Farm is 8 minutes drive on a country road from Penguin. Parking is at the rear of the main building.
