The iLAuNCH Trailblazer and University of Southern Queensland is bringing a space-themed family fun day to Toowoomba.
This exciting event will be a day filled with interactive activities. Such as air rocket launching with our rocket scientist Professor Matt Richardson and lightning talks for children, teens and adults. A sunspot activity with solar telescopes will be led by the UniSQ astronomy team! Our talks will dive into topics such as career options for space and astronomy.
This day offers a thrilling array of activities that will ignite curiosity and wonder about the vast universe beyond our planet.
Running in Toowoomba on Sunday 17 August from 10am to 2pm, these Space Family Fun Days aim to provide an engaging and educational experience for all ages, fostering a love for space and science in the community.
The Space Family Fun Days will be held during the University of Southern Queensland’s Open Days so there will be lots of opportunities for fun. Food trucks will also be available.
