  • Hawkesbury Regional Gallery
Deerubbin Centre, 300 George St, Windsor NSW 2756, Australia

Have you ever noticed how some shapes just fit together? Or how honeycomb or pineapples(!) are made of intricate interlocking patterns? Inspired by the mathematics of the natural world, as well as examples of artworks from different cultures, students will be guided to create their own tessellated masterpiece!

This syllabus linked workshop supports students’ learning in both mathematics and visual arts, bringing together their understanding of two-dimensional geometry with a creative process of self-expression.
