Join the live broadcast of ABC Illawarra from the University of Wollongong for Science Showcase UOW.
From the uni bar on Wed 13th August, ABC Illawarra will broadcast the Drive Show with Lindsay McDougall (3pm - 6pm)
The day will include:
- Live interviews with UOW scientists across different career levels. Topics include cancer drug development, the latest in MND research, snakes and evolution, the biology of viruses, the importance of our feet, and more.
- Broadcast of pre-recordings of Lindsay on campus, getting the level of carotenoids in his skin measured, doing some pipetting in a biology lab class, and enjoying the exhibits at the Science space
- Human body trivia at the usual Trivia at the uni bar
