We have a full program for the students at Oakwood Primary School.
Kindy – creating patterns with fruit and vegetables, making art with paint and leaf prints
Years 1 and 2 - decoding animal prints with the support of Dennika and making prints on paper with art stamps. (Open night make it a guess the print and you flip up the art and see a directive drawing of the animal and name of the animal underneath). Each class makes a clay 3D sculpture of Australia with animal prints through it. Or the kids make a sculpture of Australian animals.
Years 3 and 4 – Make a large-scale model of the universe on the oval.

Study crystals and their patterns – crystal have fractal branching patterns like shown when rubbing of a leaf
Year 5 – Draw the Fibonacci using pencil or collage of paper
Year 6 – Create the Fibonacci sequence in nature using 3D art of clay or pipe cleaners and beads
