Waverley Meadows Primary School will be holding a science afternoon that will include families, a nearby kindergarten and other local schools. Each year level will showcase their learning that incorporates their inquiry subject and each of the year levels will visit each other during the afternoon.
The variety of activities across the year levels not only showcases creativity and problem-solving but also makes science accessible and fun for all ages. The inclusion of families, nearby kindergartens, and other local schools will create a real sense of community involvement.
Each project is well thought out with a clear focus on sustainability and hands-on learning and differentiation. There is growing interest about the solar cars and how they tie into the upcoming solar boat challenge. The connection between real-world applications (like renewable energy) and the students' designs will likely spark some great discussions!
There will there be specific areas for each year level to showcase their learning and a walk-around of each year level.
